A ParserMonster Script is just a task file with special directives:
- Preserve current folder settings
- Modify the default behavior of commands
- Override some directives
- Set up reports
Although not strictly necessary, you should use the script icon to identify scripts:
<icon>script
In addition, you may want to use a file name prefix to group all scripts together.
(ParserMonster offers to save new scripts as si-taskname-yyyymmdd.task.)
Preserve Settings
This is the most common use of scripts. Save your Read From and Write To folders, as well as the file filters.
